Acceptable Waste
The facility is fully licenced and consented to receive the following materials.
Non–hazardous solid waste materials acceptable for disposal are:
Household waste
Green waste
Business waste
Industrial waste
Construction and Demolition waste
Special wastes by arrangement
Acceptable recyclable materials, received in separated loads only, include:
Greenwaste
Cardboard
Wood
Refrigerators
Waste electrical and electronic equipment
Tyres
Ferrous (steel) and nonferrous materials
These items are charged at the posted gate rates (see Pricing)
Unacceptable Waste
Materials not accepted are:
Dusty waste
Asbestos
Liquid waste
Hazardous waste (i.e. corrosive, oxidisers, toxic, flammable, explosive materials)
Radioactive waste
Lithium batteries (unless declared to the weighbridge)
Odorous waste
Animal parts
Car components such as engines, gearbox, differentials due to oil and fuel contents.
